About the Business
We are an independent privately owned timber importing company, based in the Lake District. Our production and offices are in Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria, which can be reached from junction 38 of the M6 or the A66 from Scotch Corner. We supply two main markets throughout the UK - high quality redwood, whitewood & hardwood to joinery & furniture manufacturers and HT timber to the packaging industry. We will shortly have all our joinery timbers available to be purchased on line.
This will allow customers to buy as little as one piece of wood on line and have it delivered within a couple of days. We import most of our timber by trailer direct from the sawmills in Sweden, Finland & Russia, and British softwood from local sawmills. We have many years experience of importing timber from these sawmills, with whom we have had a long-standing relationship.
