About the Business
General Building Plastics is a family run and owned business. Founded by Janet Sutherland in early 1990 she was joined later that year by her son Alan and eldest daughter Wendy. Alan Sutherland and Wendy Hill have now taken over the running of the business, and although Jan now only works a couple of days a week, she is still a regular and valued member of the team.
GBP are specialist suppliers of PVC building products for interior and exterior applications including a wide range of fascias, soffits, rainwater systems, external cladding and interior decorative panelling, window finishing trims and cills, decking and handrails, silicones, fixings and adhesives. Our extensive product range offers house builders, local authorities, developers, installers and home owners a stylish, cost effective and low maintenance alternative to traditional wood. In addition to this there is a wide range of colours and designs to add style and definition to domestic and commercial buildings.
