About the Business
Cumbria Building Supplies Ltd is Carlisle's only independent builders merchant and has built up a great and well deserved reputation supplying a huge selection of building, landscaping, drainage and timber materials to both trade and retail customers.
We are a local company set up and run by local people. Directors Darrell Elliot, Paul Blythe and David Reed have over 60 years experience in the building supplies business between them and decided to set up by themselves after working for other suppliers in the county and seeing for themselves, the service and products customers wanted, but didn't necessarily get. After twelve months developing a business plan they opened their 10,000sq ft.
