About the Business
Full chain of custody certification for both FSC and PEFC enables us to process softwoods, sourced from well managed and sustained European coniferous forests. As part of the supply chain we can then provide like-minded customers with certified FSC and PEFC softwood products.
Our TRADA audited systems provide full traceability though our processing stages and mean we can trace the timber we supply from finished product all the way back to the forest source.
Helping to sustain one of our most renewable natural resources with FSC and PEFC certification helps to promote ethical forestry and further reduces the acceptability and viability of illegal forest harvesting. We are not alone, the majority of timber importing and processing businesses in the UK have FSC or PEFC certification, it is in our industry's future interests to promote the sustainability of our forest resources.
