About the Business
Anton Coaker is a Dartmoor Farmer who lives at Sherberton Farm with his family. Sherberton Farm is one of the ancient tenements on Dartmoor and Anton is the fifth generation of his family to farm here. Several years ago he decided to diversify and started a sawmill on the farm and we now also stock granite to help complete your building projects. The sawmill can supply sawn English timber, air dried or fresh sawn. If you have your own round timber on your land we can convert it into sawn goods on site with our mobile sawmill.
Dartmoor beef and lamb are available from hill stock reared on Sherberton. Our cattle and sheep have thick lustrous coats from living on the hill and hide rugs and sheep skins are available. Dartmoor ponies have been bred on the farm for many years and are all registered pedigree. Sherberton Dartmoors make excellent children's riding ponies, driving ponies and are also used for conservation grazing.
